An Ofrenda is an altar honoring loved ones, central to Hispanic culture and Day of the Dead. Una Ofrenda es un altar que honra a los seres queridos, central en cultura Hispana y Día de los Muertos.

Join us in celebrating Día de los Muertos by building your own Ofrenda or contributing to ours. Bring photos of your loved ones to honor their memory with keepsakes and stories. Everyone is welcome!

Visit the display on Thursday, October 17th, through Sunday, November 2nd. 

Acompáñenos para celebrar Día de los Muertos construyendo su propia Ofrenda o contribuyendo a la nuestra. Traiga fotos de sus seres queridos para honrar su memoria con recuerdos y relatos. ¡Todos son bienvenidos! Visite la exhibición desde el jueves 17 de octubre hasta el domingo 2 de noviembre.

About the library

Founded in 1973, the award-winning Warren-Newport Public Library serves a population of approximately 60,000 within a 55-square mile area. The library offers books, movies, and music in the collections and engaging programs for all ages. WNPL also provides many educational and entertaining online resources, including ebooks, eaudiobooks, streaming media and research databases.
