Early literacy fun that families can enjoy together at home!
Put 4-5 tablespoons of finger paint or colored hair gel in a gallon-sized zippered bag and seal it securely. Tape the bag to a window or table and let your child to draw or trace shapes across the surface of the bag. This is an artful, non-messy way to encourage fine motor skills and print awareness.
If you and your child would like to be featured in a WNPL media post, please send a picture of you completing this activity to jhaydysch@wnpl.info. Be sure to include your names, date, and what you are doing. We would love to see your smiling faces!
