Early literacy fun that families can enjoy together at home!
It is a beautiful day today, so go for a crazy walk around your neighborhood! Have each person in your group invent a different way to walk, and then try to guess what each type of walk is. For example, waddle like a duck and see if your child can guess which animal you are. This type of play encourages narrative skills, the ability to describe things and events.
If you and your child would like to be featured in a WNPL media post, please send a picture of you completing this activity to jhaydysch@wnpl.info. Be sure to include your names, date, and what you are doing. We would love to see your smiling faces!
