Early literacy fun that families can enjoy together at home!
Have your child join you in the kitchen! Put approximately 1 cup of dry ingredients (see below for some ideas) in a gallon-sized zippered bag and seal it securely. Using a rolling pin, wooden spoon, or toy hammer, let your child crush the ingredients. They get a fun sensory experience and you can use the crunched ingredients as a topping on muffins, casseroles, or ice cream!
