Early literacy fun that families can enjoy together at home!
Stop by the Youth Services Desk any time during normal operating hours to pick up supplies for this week's Toddler Time activity! Supplies are limited and will be available on a first come, first served basis beginning today.
Spread out a large piece of sandpaper. If you want, use glue to adhere the sandpaper to a piece of cardboard (an empty cereal box works really well) to help hold it flat. Give your child a variety of yarn pieces in different colors, lengths, and textures. Let your child arrange the yarn on the sandpaper any way they would like--encourage them to use their imagination! Your toddler will be amazed at how the yarn will stick! To create a new design, they can simply remove the yarn and start over.
