Flannel boards are a great way to engage young children in a story by bringing it to life! Choose a simple story or rhyme to illustrate. Cut out felt pieces in the shape of the main characters and props. As you recite the story, have your child place and move the pieces on a flannel-covered board to match the action of the tale.
