Early literacy fun that families can enjoy together at home!
Stop by the library's main entrance any time during current operating hours to pick up supplies for this week's Toddler Time activity! Supplies are limited and will be available on a first come, first served basis beginning today.
Collect cardboard tubes from your home--from paper towels, wrapping paper, or mailing tubes. Cut the tubes into 2" - 3" lengths to make cardboard "beads" and tie one bead to the end of a shoelace, yarn, or ribbon (this will prevent the beads from slipping off). Help your child thread the rest of the beads onto the shoelace. When your child is done threading, pull the beads off and start over again or hang their creation as a beautiful garland in your home!
