Warren-Newport Public Library Presents:

  • Cultural Presentation by Sylvia England from the African American Museum at the England Manor (11:00-11:10am)
  • Black Influenced Mixx Fit Dance and Performance led by LTX Dance Studios (11:10-11:30am)
  • Performance of The Black National Anthem, “Lift Every Voice and Sing" by Woodland District 50 Students (11:30-11:40am)
  • Poetry Reading by Acclaimed Poet Jacqueline Harris (11:40-12:00pm)
  • Special Guest Performance by Accomplished Singer Jonelle Glori from Another Vision Productions (12:00-12:20pm)
  • Educational Musical Performance by Renowned Yolanda Brooks from Arize Beyond (12:20-12:45pm)
  • SPECIAL BONUS: Join a lively discussion with Woodland District 50’s Black Dads Rock Panel moderated by Woodland District 50 Equity Leaders, At-Risk Parent Facilitator, and Students (12:45pm)

About the library

Founded in 1973, the award-winning Warren-Newport Public Library serves a population of approximately 60,000 within a 55-square mile area. The library offers books, movies, and music in the collections and engaging programs for all ages. WNPL also provides many educational and entertaining online resources, including ebooks, eaudiobooks, streaming media and research databases.
